Grades 3 & Up After School Program

This program is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

The main purpose of this program is to assist children with their present homework and any additional academic difficulties that they are having.  The second purpose is childcare for the children of working families.  The program is located in the library of the Lee Elementary School.  The children go directly to the cafeteria for snack and attendance once school is dismissed.  They are then escorted by the Homework Help staff (all made up of school personnel) to the library where they drop off their backpacks.  This is followed by approximately 15 minutes of outside play time.  They then return to the library to begin their work.  If they complete their work before their parents arrive, they may go to the other side of the library for board games and arts & crafts.  The program runs 5 days per week throughout the entire school year.  It ends at 5:30 each day M-F.  The cost is $9.00.  There is a reduced cost for children who are on free or reduced lunch at the school.
