Busy Bee Pre-K & Preschool
The Busy Bee Preschool is for children aged 2 years, 9 months to pre kindergarten. It is open from 7:30am until 5:00pm and costs $46.00 per day (we accept Seven Hills vouchers).
The program is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. It is open all year long.
The purpose of the program is to prepare children for kindergarten by providing a curriculum for each child based on individual differences and abilities as well as experiences that will stimulate learning in all developmental areas. We accomplish this by creating an atmosphere and providing the following;
- opportunities to participate in relationships
- instruction and activities designed to develop children’s self-esteem and positive feelings towards learning.
- opportunities in all areas of language (listening, speaking, reading readiness, writing, thinking and expressing their ideas in a variety of ways)
- experiences in both gross and fine motor skills
- a wide range of art, music and movement activities
- opportunities to stimulate each child’s ability to make decisions and choices independently
- opportunities to help each child recognize and identify feelings
The ultimate goal is to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten and a lifelong desire to learn.
