Busy Bee Preschool

Busy Bee Preschool – for ages 2 years, 9 months to pre kindergarten. 9:00 – 4:00 – $37.00 per day.

We offer wraparound hours to working parents at no extra charge.  That would be 6:30 A.M. for the morning and until 5:30 P.M. for the afternoon.  The program director is  Samantha Zawistowski.  Teachers are Bonnie Morrison and Caryn Moran.  The program is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.  It is open all year long.  The purpose of the program is to prepare children for kindergarten by providing a curriculum for each child based on individual differences and abilities, to provide experiences that will stimulate learning in all developmental areas, provide opportunities to participate in relationships, instruction and activities designed to develop children’s self –esteem and positive feelings towards learning, to provide opportunities in all areas of language (listening, speaking, reading readiness, writing, thinking and expressing their ideas in a variety of ways), to provide experiences in both gross and fine motor skills, to provide a wide range of art, music and movement activities, to stimulate each child’s ability to make decisions and choices independently, to help each child recognize the right feelings and property of themselves and others.  The ultimate goal is to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten and a lifelong desire to learn.
